The industrial zone was the first to
take off in 1994. Covering an area of
1,176 acres, this component was developed
in two phases with the first covering
617 acres comprising 31 industrial lots
as well as R&D, administrative and support
facilities. Phase two is made up of
559 acres with 14 industrial lots.
Our upcoming Phase 3 will be spanning
at 432 acres and will be ready in 2007.

The selection of target industries
in the Park is based on the criteria
as described below in view of their
relationship with technologies. The
criteria are:

and higher degree of processing
as their core activities

strengthen research and development
functions

contribute to technical refinement
and overall industrial restructuring

use locally available technical
resources and materials
To
develop suitable supporting industries
To
encourage and develop industrial
linkage

collaborate with universities
and public research institutes
