On 15 September 2019, Northern Corridor Economic Region had organized Belanjawan 2020 Programme with Focus Group Discussion:Moving Up The Value Chain For The E&E Industry in Kulim Golf Country Resort (KGCR). The event was officiated by The Minister of Finance, YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng. The event was also attended by The Chief Minister of Kedah, Dato’ Seri Utama Hj. Mukhriz Tun Dr. Mahathir and Chief Executive NCIA, Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John.
