On 28th December 2019, Majlis Perbandaran Kulim (MPKK) in collaboration with Malaysia Institute Planner (MIP) was organized Pledge and Plant A Tree (PAPAT) at Persisiran Sungai Jarak, Industrial Zone Phase 4. There was more than 10 organizations and sponsors in Kulim were invited to join in the programme. About 600 trees were planted by all the invitees. The programme was officiated by Yang DiPertua Majlis Perbandaran Kulim, Tn. Hj. Rohaizad Bin Hj. Rashid. There was also some activities provided by MPKK for the invitees such as Colouring Contest for Children, Exhibition Booth and Garden Products Sales.
