R&D is an integral and very important feature of high-technology park and is carried out
by private companies, public R&D organisations as well as universities located within the high-technology park.
In recognition of this, the KHTP has therefore incorporated an R&D component as part of the overall development. |

|
The urban zone comprises the town centre, the sub-centre and the neighbourhood centre.
Being the main commercial centre, the town centre is allocated adjacent to the cross-junction leading to the East-West Expressway.
