The industrial zone was the first to take off in 1994. Covering an area of 1,176 acres, this component was developed in two phases with the first covering 617 acres comprising 31 industrial lots as well as R&D, administrative and support facilities. Phase two is made up of 559 acres with 14 industrial lots. The selection of target industries in the Park is based on the criteria as described below in view of their relationship with technologies.
