Seminar On Investment Opportunities in Kulim Hi-Tech Park |

The “Investment Opportunities in Kulim Hi-Tech Park” seminar was held for the first time in Penang at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel. Participants, comprising leaders from various industries and the commercial sector, attended presentations by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), the Small and Medium Industries Development Corporation (Smidec) and Kulim Technology Park Corporation Bhd (KTPC).
Dato’ Chong Itt Chew, the Kedah State Exco member on Industry, Science, Technology and Trade and Consumer Affairs, who was accompanied by KTPC’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Ahmad Shukri Tajuddin, was there to officiate the half-day seminar.
Organised by KTPC and supported by MIDA and Smidec, the seminar was aimed at disseminating as much new and critical information to companies or individuals who are looking forward to start or expand their investments in Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP). Participants were presented with various investment avenues available in the Park, incentives and grants options for those eligible.
Kulim Hi-Tech Park, one of leading science parks in Asia, is an integrated high-technological development that houses value-added manufacturing and service-support companies as well as R&D institutions besides the presence of comprehensive facilities and facilities, The Park was recently recognized as a MSC Cybercity which means that ICT Technopreneurs operating in the Park enjoy similar benefits and privileges obtained by those operating from Cyberjaya in Multimedia Super Corridor. |
